Barca Team! Go!

The city of Barcelona has a very long football tradition! This shouldn’t surprise anybody, as of one of the best teams in the World represents my city: F.C. BARCELONA, known throughout the World as “BARÇA”!!

Football is the national sport in Spain and, obviously, it is very easy for anyone who is staying in Barcelona and who loves football as much I do, to practice his/her favourite sport!

There are many clubs where you can play football in Barcelona, like Catalonia Sports, Meiland, etc. The only thing you have to do is to look for some friends that want to accompany you in this adventure And do you know what the best thing is? – These championships are available for people of all ages! Actually, in the same league, I’ve played against people in their twenties and also in their forties! And another piece of advice, don’t make the same mistake as I did and underestimate people older than you!!!! …Often they are the most experienced and they know all the tricks to beat you! Believe me.

Football teamAnd for all those who don’t enjoy the organized or standard championships so much and who might prefer to enjoy football on their own, you will find many grounds in and around the city…as part of sports centres …or you can always imitate my Brazilian friends and play football at the beach!!
