Museo Picasso
In Barcelona’s Museo Picasso you can find a stunning, although sporadic, collection of the master’s work across five sprawling gothic palaces.
It is one of the symbols of Barcelona, bearing witness to the intense relationship between the artist and this city. Yet another massive injection of public money has gone to ensuring it stays that way.

Fundació Joan Miró
The Fundació Joan Miró contains probably the largest collection of Joan Miro who was born in Barcelona in 1983. The museum contains over 10,000 of Miro’s paintings, sculptures, tapestries and drawings.
The museum is in the Montjuïc Park, the building was designed by Miró’s friend architect Josep Lluís Sert.

Museum of Contemporary Art
The current museum was opened in 1995. It is housed in a building designed by architect Richard Meier.
The Museum contains a collection of modern art, sculpture and paintings from the last 40 years. it includes works by Paul Klee, and Miró.
